EOQHA now has approval for 4 judges at our September show.
The August show will no longer be held.
Our annual banquet took place on January 9 th , 2010 . We celebrated in great style at The Place off the Square in Newark . The food was spectacular, the awards were great, and seeing horse show friends again is always enjoyable. We celebrated everyone's great accomplishments from the year past and planned our 2010 calendars.
This year we look forward to our first show on May 8 th and 9 th at the Ohio Expo Center again with use of the Coliseum! Our judges will be John and Betsy Tuckey. We look forward to kicking the EOQHA year off on the right foot!
We are also excited to announce our 2010 EOQHA queen Miss Tisha Hanley. We look forward to getting to know Tisha and we are eager to have her at our Futurity horse show in September handing out awards. Tisha is a resident of Newark and got her start in quarter horses through OQHA's own Skip Salome and family. EOQHA wishes Tisha all of the best of luck on her road to the Congress Queen Competition.
We encourage everyone to join us at our monthly meetings. These meetings are held the first Wednesday of each Month at the Bake ‘N' Brew in Newark , OH . These meetings begin at 7:00 p.m.
